                               TEEJ                            Hsartalika Teej 2018 is one of the three significant teej festivals in the country .On this special day, Lord shiva and parvati are worshipped for achieving materials harmony . Women do puja ,dress up in new traditional cloth and observea ast for happiness in their marriage . According to mythology, Goddess Parvati’s friend had once taken her into a forest so that her father would not be able to marry her to Lord Vishnu against her wishes.The prayers are performed during a special time period and the fast is also held by devotees. The morning period or the Pratahkal Hartalika Puja Muhurat is supposed to be auspicious for offering prayers to Goddess Parvati. Teej is a generic name for a number of hindu festivals that are celebrated by women mainly in nepal and some parts of india. Hartalika Teej welcomes the monsoon season and is celebrated primarily by girls and women, with songs, dancing and prayer rituals.Teej refers to the "third" day that falls every month after the new moon, and the third day after the full moon night of every month.Teej festivals are traditionally observed by women to celebrate the monsoons, on the third day of the Indian month of Shravan, and on the third days of the waning and waxing moon of the Indian month of Bhadrapada . Women also pray to goddess parvati seeking the wellness of their husband, children and their own self.
